ARTC-1313 | Digital Publishing I
Course Description: The fundamentals of using digital layout as a primary publishing tool and the basic concepts and terminology associated with typography and page layout.
Instructor Driven Focus:
This class is structured like an internship. Students are positioned as designers working in a full turnkey, in house design studio for a bottle manufacturer. They develop a marketing brochure in Adobe InDesign, create company branding and label design in Adobe Illustrator, and design, model, and render a bottle in Autodesk Fusion 360 to contain their company’s product. Students then post process their renders and prepare final files for print production in Adobe Photoshop.
