ARTV-2345 | 3-D Modeling and Rendering II
Course Description:
A studio course focused on advanced 3-D modeling and rendering techniques using industry standard software, modeling techniques, camera settings, lighting, and surfacing to develop detailed environments.
Instructor Driven Focus:
Students are taught the concepts of physically accurate lighting for both interior scenes and the integration of exterior global illumination, using true Kelvin temperature based lighting. Emphasis is placed on understanding how light behaves in real world environments and how to replicate that accurately in a digital space.
Interior construction is also a key focus, allowing students to develop work targeted toward the architectural visualization (ArchViz) industry.
